What kind of company is Keystone?
Keystone is a family-owned rental agency in Kingston, Ontario. We rent apartments, houses and commercial units in buildings our own family owns, which means you deal directly with the people responsible for the building rather than an agent in between.

How do I apply for an apartment?
Book a tour through our website, by calling 613-561-4444, or by emailing leasing@keyprop.com. After the tour our team will send you an application to complete.

Do you offer virtual tours?
Yes. We frequently accommodate virtual showings, tell us which you prefer when you enquire.

What documents do I need with my application?
A copy of your photo ID and a credit reference, usually a credit score report. We also ask for a contact for a previous landlord.
Leases and money

How long are the leases, and do you offer eight-month terms?
Twelve-month leases only. Keystone does not offer eight-month or short-term rentals.

Do you have parking available?
Yes, either on-site or in the Keystone lot, on a separate month-to-month contract. Single and double (tandem) spaces are available.

Which utilities are included?
Generally utilities are the responsibility of the tenant. Some units in select buildings include heat or other utilities, ask us for the breakdown on a specific unit.

Are your apartments pet friendly?
Yes. All Keystone apartments allow pets.

Are the apartments furnished or unfurnished?
All apartments come unfurnished.

Is laundry on-site?
Yes! Most buildings have on-site laundry facilities. A few addresses, including 196, 198, 200 and 202 Queen Street, 194 and 205 Sydenham Street, and 332 Princess Street, use Keystone laundry facilities nearby rather than on-site. Some units do feature in-suite laundry as well.

Yes. Keystone offers multiple bike storage rooms across our properties.
